I'm still trying to get follow up on an incident that occurred on December 16th.
My 7 year old son lost his save file due to a crash during saving. This was using Xbox Cloud Gaming. We don't own an Xbox, we are using Xbox Cloud Gaming using the app on our Samsung smart tv. He was saving on the night of Spring 28 Year 4. The game crashed while saving. The first time this happened he replayed the day and tried saving again at the end. It again crashed during the save and his save file no longer shows up in the list of available saves.
I read that the most recent Xbox update has resolved this issue. I've read that it should "prompt" you to load from a backup save if your game was lost. I've logged on 3 times in the past 2 days and haven't received any sort of prompt. His save still is not listed in the list of available saved games when we select "Play" from the main menu.
I'd like a status update. Is the recent fix only for people playing on a physical Xbox, rather than cloud gaming? I need to know whether or not this save is permanently lost. @exotic python - please respond.
