Just after the trivia is over the game crashes. No trigger other then it ending

The same happened to me 4 times tonight during the winter trivia. I will take a video of an entire game day and post it here tomorrow to showcase the crash

Just had exactly same crash exiting left hand trivia npc. I now am faced with recovery and this is my question: When hard re-setting my new 1tb OLED Steam deck -updating steam deck and updating Coral Island (which should of been automatic) - and reloading I am asked to restore local save dated Jan 12 or Cloud save dated Jan 10. Today is Jan 16. I do not want to lose all that game play. Is there another option? No clue how to troubleshoot on steam deck.

I think it’s always sunny who’s crashing everyone. I’ve crashed at the end of the Insect and Fish trivias now, just after you complete it the npcs look like they have trouble loading in then the game goes poof.

Nvm it’s any npc, the menu for selecting “play” vs “rewards” is a bit finicky too though. Almost feels like it’s selecting both at once. Don’t know if that has anything to do with it

-Unrelated to the crashing but the mini games are also playable anytime even when the event is inactive

My theory is that it crashes when you replay the trivias too fast, since it unloads and spawns in new npcs at the stand

This is my theory as well. Also don’t try to complete all 13 things in one in game day 😅

After 5 crashes I did.

Mine is crashing after the quiz as well. I do the quiz, see the results, and then it crashes and I loose all the progression, second time today. Almost giving up playing 😦

@small compass I have the video of the crash. For me it happens after the third trivia I get on the first place (if I recognized the right pattern)

Crash on the left quiz (the first quiz) not started yet, game Crash. Farm's quiz ok for me (the second quiz but I do it on first.
Right (3) quizz I don't know ?
