How much fertilizer improve quality ?

Is it worth it to buy/craft fertilizer ? Is the effect the same as upgraded crops ? Does the two of them combine ?

it's not worth it because its only a chance to increase it. the perk + upgraded seeds is better in my opinion

they do combine and esp in the early game it’s worth it imo, in the later game the level 2&3 fertilizer will give you more osmium & gold crops than just the upgraded seeds
