I see that the bug was fixed for the winter festival minigame cause loss of inventory, but what about those who did lose their inventory? the game is still unplayable as I am not able to craft anything else within the game (lack of starter tools).... will we get them back? Will there be a way to buy basic tools so that I can start reupping on supplies to rebuild my other tools? I am so sad I cant play!

They've stated in those bug report threads that you'll have to restart, there's no way for them to add the missing tools back in
Depending on what platform you're playing on you may be able to recover an old save though

I went to recover my tools; the only thing I could recover was my scythe. No other tools were available. I still can't play the game without my other tools.

I have went and am unable to! The problem is you haveto have a starting tool to start the upgrade process and I do not have any starting tools. If there was a way to craft the starting tools, i think this would help!
