I have the game through game pass on my Xbox. Really enjoyed the first two seasons, but have hit some pretty brutal bugs and crashes in the fall.
Is the steam version cleaner? Are there still a lot of bugs in the steam version? I am willing to buy the steam version, if I won’t encounter a ton of bugs. But am also willing to just wait until they straighten out the bugs.

I haven't come across anything too terrible yet, though sometimes your game character gets stuck and you have to either restart the day, or there is a button in the pause menu that exhausts all your energy and skips you to the next day. I've played for a total of 50 hours and this has happened twice, maybe three times. It sucks but for me the gameplay kinda outweighs it (I love this game too much)

You should go to the bug report channel and sort by Steam tags and just take a look at what's been reported recently

Ive had next to no bugs and no crashes since the last update the only thing I’ve had issues is the new years festival and I haven’t reached it in a little while

Can you bring over your save data from xbox to steam?
