maybe a stupid question but i feel like all the food im getting barely does anything to my stamina. like every tool uses 3 or so stamina so no matter how much i eat it gets drained almost immediately and im forced to scavenge for random flowers that only give me like 16 stamina. does this ever get more efficient? is it a tool upgrade thing? or is food just kinda weaker in this game?

Hi! Yes there are tool upgrades. Nets and fishing pools get updated at the shack near diving spot. Other tools get updated at blacksmith! You must buy cooking instruments in town to start cooking food. Once you get cooking tools (I.e. stove, ceramic bowl, frying pan) and a variety of food, you can manually cook dishes to unlock them! 😊 hope this helps!
