After healing the coral tree and getting both cutscenes afterward I received a letter in the mail to meet someone on the beach west of the diving location the next day at 6pm. The next day was the harvest festival and I don't know if that messed it up but I went to the beach the next day and nothing triggered. I continued to go to that side of the beach for several days and nothing. Am I not going to the right spot? Or is this a bug?

How many hearts do you have with Suki? She’s the one that sent the letter
Sometimes you get quests/events in your journal before you have the required hearts to trigger them

I only have 3 hearts with Suki

The letter will always arrive until you see the event. Make sure to make some time when the letter arrives and the event will trigger normally. Don't let it pass about 3 days or so, it won't trigger until she sent you another letter.

I was waiting on the beach and it ment it didn’t trigger - I had to wait on the docks till 18.00 then walked over
I had also previously done a cutscene with suki and her sister in the inn - so maybe trigger that first? Then you can see her on the beach
