I really want to finally catch the wolf spider, and I really would rather not wait a whole in game year for it, maybe it helps to know how bugs spawn, like do new ones spawn every ig hour? how fast do new ones spawn after catching/scaring them off? the one time I encountered a wolf spider was right before 2am and passing out. yay.

i'm not really sure how they spawn, I think it's kinda buggy right now so I wouldn't rely on that.
What I did was put a crawling insect trap in spots where they appear. I got mine that way
(i think it was in Mid-forest?)

Put a trap beside the hotspring building by Summer. It'll guarantee wolf spider catch on that spot. Just occasionally empty it in case its not the one you're looking for.
