As a player on Xbox, I have over 248 items donated to the museum. I have not experienced a crash yet from the museum. I don't know if that means it's fixed or if I'm just missing it

Yeah, I’ve heard the old gen has been having most problems. Hopefully it’ll be the next update sometime this month

Try saving up a bunch of items and donating all at once. Or you may have to skip the cut scene.

So, I have tried the following:
Saving up increments of 20/30/35 items to give at the same time
Waiting until I pass out (it never happened- I left it until the game kicked me out for inactivity)
It crashes before I can get to the cut scene so I haven’t tried skipping it.

Ok so I have an update. After resding you message I tried a few variations of museum donations. They all crashed.
However I am VERY VERY CHUFFED to announce that I just updated 48 items in a row to the museum and the game did not crash!
Then I donated an additional 27 and it saved through the night AND I got all the cut scenes!!!
