“You are Here” Marker on the Ocean Floor Map

I’m playing on the Xbox Game Pass via the Xbox app on PC, and while exploring the ocean floor, the “you are here” marker is missing on the map. Is this a setting I managed to toggle off? I’m not able to find anything on the settings menus but I’ll admit I’m getting a little lost trying to find my way around without the marker.
