what is fish bait really meant to do? help us catch rarer fish? because alot of the time, 4 out of 5 times I get trash or a flyer 😦 is it just unbalanced?

Bad luck- Bait increases the chance of a fish that size-
So small bait = more likely to catch small fish

Personally I don’t use bait, I’ve caught all the rare fish without it, I would say maybe invest in the large bait for the sharks but even then I don’t think it’s a necessity
