Wanted to use up my extra fruit / veg so decided to cook to get some extra cash, however I had a ton of fruit so made some smoothies, and they only sell for 10-16 coins depending on quality? But I get more if I just sold the fruit on its own? Is this a bug or is there genuinely no point in cooking to make money?

The best way to make money with your veggies are by making them into artisan items

cooking is just for energy, buffs and gifts i think. i like to have sugar cane for really easy energy

I'm glad tihs post exists. I'm new to the game, haven't even finished spring yet and I was going to work on the kitchen upgrade cause I'm struggling with energy really badly lol. Do you guys have any suggestions on what to make or buy thats the most bang for my buck?

bug jerky, you need the kitchen upgrade and the grill to make it. before you get those the candied tree seeds are easy to craft (and you can find several in chests around the island). once you get the hot springs you can also restore energy there, altho that will take time so best to do if you have in-game speed slowed down

yep, best tip i learned from this discord! in settings you can move the in game speed down as low as 50%, makes it so much easier to get everything done esp when your skills are leveled up enough for your stamina to be pretty high. also makes it a lot easier to spend a couple hours in the hot springs in the middle of the day
