Hi guys, I need some help. I'm stuck on town rank C, currently 537/745 points and I don't know how to get this up before the end of year one. I'm now in Winter 11 and trying to reach B before my year ends so I can start with new crops in year 2. What actions actually increases the Town Rank?

Complete altars, heal the ocean, donate to the museum

Getting rank A for the ocean can bring you up a lot and it's the fastest to get. Then you can try the museum and offerings

Ocean is the easiest, followed by altars. Altars unfortunately depend on whether you kept crops for cooking, got the cooking utensils, got animals, etc. Donations are the hardest imo because you need to donate a lot of things to progress...

Yea I'm kinda in the same boat even winning all the mini games in yr 1 isn't enough to get me to b that said I have not fished at all in the game just been catching bugs and critters and donating artifacts I'm almost done completing the artifacts and bugs and critters think I'm missing like 5 from each of those categories.
Actually missing 10 artifacts and 9 gems but 5 for bugs and critters lol and fossils I'm missing a lot still

They give you merit points which goes towards your town rank.

No they not count. Merit points are different. I have over 1k hours. I know what I'm talking about. Use the official stairway wiki if you don't believe me. Merit points are not town rank points and never have been
