I am in the water mines I couldn’t break the earth tablet because I didn’t have the quest to reach the bottom because it simply didn’t happen? How do I trigger to get it as I haven’t?

Have you completed an offering yet? I think that's the trigger to get the cutscene with the Cheiftan

  2. Town cutscene day 6 for Town rank

  3. Dream

  4. Touch tablet

  5. Day 8 is giant village

If you've done all this before meeting chieftain just going into the mines will trigger it
