I play on Xbox Series S. My game crashes randomly all the time. I also cannot attach tags to my posts for some reason so that is why I have not put any tags here.
I responded to another bug report with this same text but I wanted to include it on its own thread in hopes someone will see it and it helps.
It is my firm belief that the more things they have going on in the background then the more likely the game will crash randomly. The more you do in a given day increases the amount of things the program is thinking about at once and that is what's causing crashes.
They keep asking for a specific action that causes the crash but that isn't it at all. All the data is getting bogged down behind the scenes as it processes all the things a player does and it will finally just break from overthinking.
It is not that "talking to Paul causes the game to crash", it is that "Talking to Paul was the last bit of data that the program just couldn't handle at once."
