Do I need to water the trees I plant or do they just automatically grow when planted like in stardew valley?

Seedling which are fruit plants you have to water but saplings which are fruit tree you don’t

Trees (oak, pine, mapple, mahogany, and poplar) doesnt need to be watered

Fruit tree (3x3 space) doesn't need to be watered

Fruit plant (2x2 tilled soil) need to be watered

what is the spacing for regular trees (oak, pine, maple) when planting for tapping? i planted mine with the 8 square space around it, but they wouldnt mature after 3 seasons of waiting.

so yeah, the conclusion are you need 3x3 for tree (oak, pine, mapple, poplar, and mahogany) AND it cant be stacked. they can grow fully with that space, and dont worry if they dont grow at the same time
