I'm now on Fall 4 and have been fishing every morning/night in the forest ocean. Fall 1 I got 2 giant sea bass and lost 2. Since then none have been biting. I'm trying to get osmium starred ones but I can't even get them to bite anymore. Do they not trigger after Fall 1? I thought I had until Fall 7.

What fishing level are you/what level is your fishing rod upgraded to?

I also noticed this with all the date-range fish during year 2 in patch v1-184 with fishing 10 & osmium rod. Only available on the first day of their range and never biting again for the rest of it

notably hammerhead on fall 8 and yellow moray only on summer 15 on top of the GSB

Same happens to me it seems. Wanted to catch a third GSB on 2. And 3. for the pond, but they never bit

I saw that you did. I have this same issue. Fishing level 10 & osmium rod. I only caught two on the first day, unable to catch more.
Haven't seen if I can again the next year. But, not even restarting the game fixes it. (Which fixes most things.)

I haven’t been able to catch any GSB since like the first or second day of fall year 2.. fishing is level 10 & osmium rod as well.. 😓

Is this still happening? Any update? I haven’t been able to catch the sea bass too. Forgot to fish 1st of Fall, but since the 2nd of fall still no GSB. Only cucumbers, mackerels and firefish.
Fishing also lv.10 with osmium rod. Added Large bait too for good measures.
