Accidentally Set "E" to change tap in setting page, and now I can't save anything. Help!

I wanted to change the toolsbar rotation key to E but I chose the wrong one. Now every time I made changes on setting page it won't let me save.

When I click "Apply" instead of pressing E it will switch tabs as well. Even when I try to switch everything back to default setting it still won't go back for me unless I "Apply" the setting, which -- you know, doesn't work at the time

I'm not sure if uninstall and reinstall the game would help or not? I don't want to waste my time doing so if it doesn't work. Please help! Thank you!!

Do you happen to be on Steam? Embarrassed to say I had the exact same scenario happen to me lol

Yes 😭 Now I tried reinstalling a few times already but it still won't reset the settings 😭 😭

No worries hahaha I went through the same process and almost went crazy, not sure if I remember the exact steps but:

1. Go to your steam app > settings > cloud, and disable the toggle for 'enable steam cloud'
2. Press “Win + R”, then enter %appdata%, go back to the AppData folder and then open: Local -> ProjectCoral -> Saved -> SaveGames
3. Delete the file called UserSettings.sav
4. Restart your game as per normal

This should solve the issue, just that if you previously changed any keybinds it would have been reset to default.

Make sure to backup a copy of your new user settings if you do change anything, so that if this happens again you can easily copy and paste it back into the folder you access above!

And if in the future you decide to toggle back on your steam cloud, make sure to select local save when it prompts you.
