Outdated game on PC Game Pass

I downloaded the game a while ago via the Xbox app for PC and since then I see that there have been updates released for Steam and consoles, but no updates for PC Game Pass. There won't be an update?

@noble kite Hey, that would have been my question too. I've been playing the 1.0 update via the PC Gane Pass for a month and there hasn't been a single update, unfortunately, which is a shame because I love this game a lot but the PC Game Pass version also has problems, it feels like that It's as if this version is being neglected, especially when MSN sees that other platforms receive several updates almost every week and that's really not meant in a bad way. I appreciate your work STAIRAWAY and I love Coral Island and that's why it's all the more annoying since the release of 1.0 I'm struggling with problems with PC Game Pass and definitely many of the other players would be very happy if there were regular updates for the PC Game Pass version too and finally I can only say again that it really doesn't mean any harm, dear go out ❤️

Any information on why is it taking so long?
Will the update be a big one with all fixes from other platforms?
I guess this is the same version as the one in Microsoft Store, and it hasn't been updated yet since the 1.0 release...

Novita said right before their break they were trying to fix one of the big issues and nothing was working- they couldn't get it right

What version should the game be? I bought the game on PC through the Xbox store and my game has crashed loads today and I’m trying to work out if it’s an outdated version and that’s why?

(I should say I had it on game pass and played early access but I gave up game pass last year and just bought the game instead, this is the first time I’ve had any issues)

I would Never buy games off Windows/xbox store unless absolutely required, Steam has Fastest update channels cause devs can push updates themselves without approval more or less. GOG has slightly slower update channels and anything in a Console-ish store is slowest because MS and Sony require Certification passes in addition to those console specific bugs. At least this is my latest understanding.

Steam version doesn't matter here. PC game pass and steam gave never been the same version number as they run on different platforms 🙂

They do not. Version numbers can be seen in #📋coral-changelist though

Each system has their own end numbers (usually)

yes it is, i play from xbox gamepass and transfer my savefile to steam version
