Hi, so I've had the coop for like a week and a half in game at this point, and despite letting my chicken and duck out to graze every day when the weather is nice, petting them every morning, and even getting the temperature controlling thing (it's Summer) and putting it inside the coop, I haven't gotten a single heart with any of my animals. They're always just 'okay' too. Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong? I'm on PS5.

Need to upgrade the coop or barn unfortunately, I’ve managed to have them happy without doing so but that seems to be what is hindering it.
Actually just kidding mine were only okay until I cleaned up all the trash around the fenced areas. fenced them in so they go out to graze but aren’t hard to find

you could try upgrading hay with ling. i had my chickens for about 20 days and they're about halfway
