Crashes opening menu after diving

This has happened multiple times and caused me to lose many days in game.
I will complete a day of diving and return to the farm. If I try to open my inventory, chests, or the shipping bin then the game crashes entirely.
Most commonly this occurs when I open the menu to access my inventory.
