I've unlocked the third eye, and I'm on my second summer. I've been able to turn in produce at the lake altars, and free the giants, but I'm unable to interact with the sacred trees beyond this. If I click next, the dialoque ends.
Is this a bug, or am I doing something wrong?

i guess thats what it is, all the tablet on every sacred trees said "sacred area" indeed. theres no special text on it
the third eye work for the waypoints, when they are still locked youd get a clue how to unlock it. when you click at the waypoint

You need to complete 2 of the bug/fish altars to unlock the waypoint by the carpenters. The tree will heal as you donate to the altars. Each of the 4 trees is linked to an altar.
