I just finished the pickstarter mission for the museum and Scott gifted me the brush, but it's nowhere in my inventory or mailbox? Did I miss something?

Not in your inventory, it's a "Special Item", Look for it in your Journal, under Player 🙂
You won't be able to like, mouse over it and get the description of it, but you'll see it there. ❤️

Nope! It's just there! You'll now start automatically finding fossils when you break rocks in the mine (or elsewhere) that you can take to Ling's lab to get examined, but she charges, same as the blacksmith boys, so just be aware. 😄

what :0 I never noticed getting charged at the blacksmiths? I've had very little money this whole game too because I havent prioritized farming 😅
