I was able to get Wakuu to ask me for kids, so they're definitely implemented. I have full hearts with him and he asked after a few weeks. Not sure if it's relevant but it happened when I slept on the same side of the bed as him

I have Mark at full hearts and been laying down on his side and nothing has happened so far.

It indeed took awhile to get babies, it took me 2 seasons to get the first one 😂
