I know that in future updates, the merfolk will be romanceable, and I was wondering if they'll eventually get human forms so we can have a relationship with them or will they stay exclusively to underwater?

I think they may transform to human forms when they’re marry. Since we can change to mermaids and human forms too. Also we have farm in land but in underwater don’t. So in my opinion I think they may live will us in land. But who know Dev mind.

There's a chance for it, I think. But it might depend on a character. For example, Semeru as the guard captain is bound by duty to his kingdom and I doubt he will agree to become partially human. Moreover, he is wary of humans - in merfolk legends we are portrayed bad, and to him we are just an exception. But the princess is very curious and naive, she will probably agree, even without her parents' approval.

I saw in the previous development log the development goals for underwater farm in 2024, and currently we also have a room to sleep in and spend a day underwater. I think they are more likely to continue staying underwater because with underwater farm, we will spend more time in the ocean.

Yes, this will be a severe test for developers! 🤣 But I think every romanced merfolk has their responsibility in the kingdom, even the princess will be the next queen of the ocean , so from the plot perspective, it is not appropriate to make them human.

Oh I see. Maybe it’s become like that. But I don’t know if it’s spoil or not but in menfolk story look like it have some of them live among humans on the land. So I think maybe menfolk romance candidate may live with us in farm on land too. But in your opinion it also make sense too I agree.

Rn we can't, there's simply no content with them. But from what I see in devs dairy, they're constantly working on it 👀
