#geode grinding?

Best to start from 1, 5, 15, and go down from there. But if you mine early and have lots of time, from 1 all the way down if possible.
Beta testers said that the dynamic system should be in place so 31 and down are supposed to be the best places
I've not checked yet though myself
I’ve done 1,5,15,25, and 30-35 and I’ve also done 31-39 and I think the first one gets you the most. At least from experience I get way more that way
I'd recommend also having the Geode Finder skill, doubling up on Blessed Opal Rings, and enchanting your equipment as high as you can.
how did you get that high of percentage? I currently have osmium tools
I just kept feeding excess items into my enchantments, and when it would be the one I wanted, it would bump it up. 🙂 As I understand it, the purple color means it's at it's max right now.
Technically, you could choose to "Upgrade" but that requires more points potentially, I just stayed and rolled the dice at the 100 point level.
The 100 points cost for rolling new enchant which in turns can upgrade existing one is kinda exploit in my opinion
It simply allows to bypas the designed cost of upgrading to better enchant level. Whilte it is profitable (as all exploits by definition) it should be fixed.
I guess I never saw it as an exploit, as it's not something surreptitious nor sneaky that's being done, just using the tools available in a different manner. Effectively, it likely costs me more, but this way, I don't have to try to figure out which items have the correct amount of points to get me my upgrade.
It's easier for me to find a few items that add up to 100 points than trying to work out what will get me the 400 or whatever it is I need to upgrade.
Ah i see. Well it would be good to hear back from developers, especially designers behind this feature what was the intended use of those two mechanics.
Since one of them is for getting new enchants and the other for upgrading.... you know where i am going.
But you are also touching other important aspect. Those items we use for fueling enchanting/upgrading process do not show their points value towards those processes.
UI improvement is highliy necessary here. Noone wants to memorize what type of bone gives what amount of points, right?
Absolutely! If there were an easy in-game way to know how many points an item had, that would be dandy. Unfortunately, I think the Dev team has some bigger fish to fry right now.
Absolutely.
And i really hope they have a dedicated person around now to ingest all the feedback and make notes ;P
So that at some point when they deal with really big fixes and features completion they could return and work on lower prio but still valid stuff
The crash bugs section is swarming with reports, and actual-non-crash bugs are not small in number as well. So yeah, it will take them some time.
I have every faith in them, I know that they're doing their utmost. These things are not easy, especially with smaller teams. So as much as some things can be a pain, I will absolutely give them grace and time, and know that this too shall pass. 🙂
Yeah i share your faith. Hope the December update will break the radio silence and bring more confidence . Right now I feel quite bad that developers are not very much in touch with the community.
They did just drop a patch on Steam. See #📋coral-changelist for details
What did you choose? Fossil or artifacts?
A mix of both, honestly. Once I had donated them, I had no other use other than trying to get good enchants.
Thanks. I’ll try. Before this, I only use the fossils and sell the artifacts or gems
