After you marry an NCP are they supposed to hang out in the house and do nothing all day?

They still (for the most part) go and follow their normal schedules, with slight alterations. Alice for example, goes to the town square, then the inn like usual, then goes to the farm rather than the inn to sleep. The days she goes the beach, she comes back to the farm and reads while still in her swim suit, then goes to bed later on. I'm leaving out a bunch of her schedule, but it gets the point across.
