I entered my best produce, gold star and osmium and still lost. Is it rigged to lose or is there a secret?

@hushed wasp I'm wondering the same I have lost 2 years in a row already well I lost year 2 before it kept crashing and I gave up trying either way would be nice to know how to win

I won my first year. My competitor only used quail eggs. I put osmium (and a bit of gold) items in there and chose the things I could sell at mist expensive prices. With both value + star rating I won. I also believe there is a list of how many points you can get for value + stars on the wikia, if you wanna do the maths (eg if gold star but more value gives more points than osmium + less value), but generally you should have no problems with osmium and gold and a few items you can sell for above 300 coins (but that is only based on my experience).
Edit: oh! And of course more categories are better! Diversity price and all!
I will also try to remember to post a picture of the wikia later and link it, but it‘s slow mode, soo… later it is!
