So to my understanding the game isn’t finished yet, but is there an estimate on when it will be? Is the game we are playing just a beta oooor? I don’t understand. I know I saw something about early access but then it came out of that but then the game isn’t done… So what version are we playing is what I’m asking? Please and thank you. ☺️

I'm not that far into the game yet (fall 1 year) Town Rank C, but I've heard that the game (except for the bugs, which are probably worst in the winter season (for PC)) is now at the point where mainly only the kickstarter stretch goals are missing. These will be added next year. But I can't judge it well because I'm not done with the year yet. I've completed the merfolk quest but I don't know if there will be another quest line when I'm town rank A
Here's the roadmap for 1.0 :
#📣announcements message
and the 2024 roadmap (no date yet:
If you prefer getting the Kickstarter stretch goals as well, wait until 2024 to play.
Theres enemies and scavengables in your journal that you will never see because they aren't in the game yet. Festivals will have people talk about their costumes when they are wearing regular clothes because that isnt in the game yet. The library is always empty because the books were taken out to complete and never put back in. Theres heart events that people cant trigger because they dont exist yet. The MAIN questline ends in a quest you cant start because it says (TBD) in the end of it. Your pets don't do a single thing and you cant gift anything to it either. Sea caves are just rooms with trash in them. You just get married without any dating because apparently thats only a stretch goal, your kids don't do anything because so is that.
Through mid 2024 they will implement these features off the top of my head among others while fixing all these game breaking bugs and crashes removing progress and bricking your save with no way to fix them. They will then go on to balancing and polishing the game removing more minor bugs, fixing clipping, balancing broken minigames, and so on. After the game is 1.0 ready they will start with the actual 'extra' stuff these people are talking about.
