Most all of winter is bugged for me, and there are issues with catching certain bugs and fishing so it's hard to play without rage quitting :\

From what I understand, the update is pushed into queue, but Microsoft is putting the update all the way to the back of the queue because CI is a small indie game and not a big fish. Thus updates taking a long time to get trough with no concrete date. The updates are at the mercy of Microsoft.

The Xbox patch came out last week - Microsoft approved it and people have downloaded it. It is standard for it to take longer to certify than Steam regardless of company size. The issue is a patch doesnt appear to have been made at all for the game pass pc version. It's not a Microsoft issue.

Stairway games is not part of Microsoft, they cannot do anything more that put the update into the queue.

There has been no update for the Xbox/PC game pass version playable on PC because from what I was told by Microsoft the devs have not given them one. So it would be best to contact the devs and give them feedback.

I hope they fix the game crashing in the middle of a heavy harvesting day bug. I can't complete the mayors hat quest because it won't let you pick up the hat and the museum turn in causing game crash. And I am on Xbox. Please fix this wonderful game thank you.

The hat can be done its just a finicky spot and its not easy to grab but its possible.

Yall gotta understand Microsoft doesn't give 2 craps about a small indie company. They've been slow the entire time the game was EA and were known to just stop pushing updates. At one point xbox was 7 updates behind steam. And the blame falls SOLELY on Microsoft.
The team is working on bringing the QA portion in house to reduce a step on Microsoft side. They are working to make it faster. But until then, blame the real problem.....Microsoft's stupid update process

Microsoft will only prioritize updates when they buy the game company.
@clear cliff You can also buy direct from Humble Games but Steam is the way I go. 🙂
