if you were late to the party. here's a couple files to use as NG+.

YOU CAN NOW COPY YOUR FILE EASIER

simply paste it into your saves- and rename it the next number

so if your most recent save is dailysave_3
rename the copied file dailysave_4

load game and play- no more need to create a game first

Its just crazy to me the guys talking about devs not supporting you when they released this unfinished beta as a full product where the literal fix to many of the bugs happening in #1105382785826443264 rn is to use mods to fix ur save because the only other support you have is to hope you have a backup before it happened or start a new game.

If you haven't played before you'll need to make a save first to create the save folder. Just delete it after it's made and then copy one of these saves from this post.

You'll click the game file- so example- my 500k files name is sienna and it says 499k when you load it in there- you'll click it to play and get a pop up asking if you want to do NG+

hi! i'm quite unfamiliar but really interested with this. i've never tried the process^ mentioned above in other games at all (ive never messed around with save files whatsoever) hence i have a few questions:

1. will this work even if you did not play in EA?
2. does this overwrite your existing save or merely allows you to create a new save/new farm (but with the added gold?)

i want to explore everything of what the game has to offer especially with all the upgraded expensive stuff but at the same time, i wouldn't want to ruin my own main save whatsoever -- since i've only ever had 1 😭 (bugs, crashes, and lost save files got me paranoid!) thank you so so much 💓

It works if you haven't played EA, and as long as you rename the file, it won't overwrite your current saves, it'll just give you a new save to start

you probably played during early access before the 1.0 version was released, and came back a few updates later! devs did communicate that the early access files will be forced restarted, however you do get a head start to rebuild your farm with the gold you earned during EA!

The EA files posted here are for New Game saves. You can download these and move them to the folder so the game thinks you played in EA, and essentially start with the money we had. More for people who missed EA or wanted to start again after using their EA save for a new file.

Unfortunately, there are no official methods to modify money in-game currently (there is wemod that's an unsupported mod, but just note that you forgo any official bug support). However, the files shared here have varying amounts of starting money from NG+ and you can choose one based on your needs!

Hi, i've never touched my steam game files before and i'm having trouble finding the files. Is it because I have my steam cloud turned on? Do i need to turn it off before finding the files?

Also how do I know which file to replace? (I'd like to replace two of my existing files since i'd like to start out rich lol, but i have one main file that i don't want to touch at all since that was from my own NG+, I'm scared I'll accidentally replace that one)

Steam cloud doesn't matter, all the files are still stored on your computer.

You're not replacing file, just adding one. When you do find the files, they're labeled pretty simply daily save #. Just add this new file in with the next #

So I have my steam library not saved on my local C drive but instead a seperate hard drive. I had to do some digging, but if you're in your AppData folder, instead of going into Roaming, try looking to see if your ProjectCoral folder is in Local. Super weird but that's where I found my saves folder lol.

For Steam Deck, your save file would most likely be stored in 'compatdata' (filepath:/home/deck/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/compatdata). From there, you will see lots of folder with random number, Coral Island folder should be the one with code number '1158160'. Enter that folder, into the pfx folder, then drive_c folder, then you can follow the file path here: Users\ ~<username>~\AppData\Local\ProjectCoral\Saved\SaveGames to find your save file 🙂

During the transition from EA to 1.0, the EA save files weren't compatible with 1.0 so they made a "NG+" that was able to keep the total earned money from the EA save

Hey so does NG+ not work anymore? The way this thread made it sound was that I has to copy what file there was, change the number to the next numerically, and it should start from the beginning, but now I just have 2 of the same files, or does it not work for a file that is your own and it has to be an outside file? Wanted to start over from my EA file with 11 mil and haven't played since Feb. The way they made it sound back then was that if you had an EA file you could put it in the beta at the time then in March it would force a NG+ but when i loaded it up toady it loaded normally and a bunch of new stuff unlocked. The date on the file was older than Feb so I loaded it up slept to save the game and get the file to todays date then tried what was posted in here.

So, just to copy here my discovery from today

I have found that you can roll back to the EA version using the Steam Console

What this means, practically, is that I can now create new EA saves for people to use

So if you want a certain amount of money that isn't already covered by one of the existing saves here, let me know and I will make it as and when I have time

(Please note that it could take a while, especially if it's a huge amount)

Also, I should be able to continue playing from existing EA saves posted here
