#Loading Backup Files on Steam

To load a backup, do the following:
- Press the Windows key + R on your keyboard at the same time. A window should now open that looks like this:
- In this window you enter “AppData”. The “AppData” folder opens. Now navigate from “AppData” to “Local” and from “Local” to “ProjectCoral”. Here you will find your “Saved” folder with your save data. Open this and then open the “SaveGames” folder from there. The whole thing should now look something like this:
- In this folder, delete the save game where the bug happened to you. The respective saves are named “DailySave_X”. The numbering refers to the order in which the saves were created. 0 is the oldest save, everything above that was created afterwards. A good reference point as to which one is affected is the modification date.
- Now open the “Backup” folder. Here you will find a selection of “SaveBackup_X_X” files. The first number tells you which save the backup is for. The second number tells you how old the backup is. However, it is best to orientate yourself on the change date and take the date that was closest in the past. In this case, the closest candidates would be the two circled in red.
