Hello all, I was curious if you all knew if Windy weather affected my animals moods. Should I not be letting them out on windy days and only on sunny days, My animals are more often neutral than good at this point.

Thanks!

Get the heater from ranch plant grass outside by barn/coop n let them outside spring/summer/fall no rain days and stockpile hey for winter animals will always be full hearts

#

Only need 1 heater per building auto machinery helps a great deal so you don't have tend to animals everyday before leaving farm. Invest in them soon as available

wait a minute. i let my animals out (with some grass) during sunny days in winter and they don’t seem to mind 🤔 should i really not let them out during the entire winter season?

Just read the whole post, you need to level up your coop and barn to lvl2 for them to be happy and not neutral.

# rain plinth Do they not have the sad faces as they leave their coop/barns?

oh maybe they do. i think i saw some sad faces but like not every time i put them outside. so i should just keep them inside all winter long? that doesn’t seem super logiciel since pigs need to go outside and have grass to find truffles. so like if we can’t put animals outside during winter, that basically mean no pigs products for the entire winter? 🤔

What logical axiom says that pigs must produce during winter? Logic does say that freezing temps are not good for animals not used to them.

#

You cant plant most crops during winter either, what I do is use all the cacti I got from fall and turn them all into osmium cactus mead

it was logical for pigs to produce in winter (for me at least) because others animals in the game don’t stop producing during winter. so why would we have an animal that doesn’t produce anything at all for 28 entire days? that just doesn’t seem logical to me. (that’s why i think animals can/should be able to go outside during sunny days in winter)

Different animals give different products, some sell for more than 10 times than another. Cows produce everyday but pigs only once every 4, you can process an egg twice with 2 different machines more than quadrupling it's value but you cant even process a feather once. The assumption that all animals would behave the same way was faulty to begin with leading to an incoherent conclusion.

wait do other animals take energy to harvest? I could have sworn it was free but Ive had autoharvesters so long I cant say for sure.

Pigs eat grass to make truffle, you can't plant grass indoors or during the winter

okay, so from now on i need to stop letting my animals outside during winter. i’ll do that i guess. thanks for the infos and sorry for my misunderstanding i guess

Not your fault, i let them out for like 2 years until i noticed their thought bubbles and checked online lmao.

i saw a sad bubble once and i thought they were just in a bad mood today (like we are some days and some days we are happy) 😂

They have the sad face bubble whenever you let them out and you don't got any grass on your farm. The grass doesn't grow in winter you have to replenish it using grass starter.

I have grass and cows still get sad, theory debunked sadly

Oooh so its related to my barn size then. So i guess i gotta store up those hardwoods

#

Ngl the hardwood skill is not worth it, barely get any hardwood from that
