hardwood

Is anyone else having a hard time finding hardwood? I've kinda soft locked myself because I can't cut the big logs on my farm with my silver axe but to upgrade the axe to gold I need hardwood. I've tried breaking crates in the mine but can never get any and can't buy any at the carpenters. Does anyone have any advice?

bomb the ones on your farm!
6 offerings will open the mid forest and you'll get a log every day
14 offerings will open the deep forest with more logs
Carpenter will sell at rank B. There’s also two random logs on the island one in front of the monkey altar and another I’d have to look up

I only chopped them down after I got my gold axe, but there is a log in the river above the cavern and there is one right of paul + anne`s house :>
