#Xbox Crashing at First Museum Cutscene

I play on xbox console via gamepass downloaded to my system. The game crashes every once in a while, thats fine. Sometimes i run around and in the middle of a dash open my backpack and it crashes. Expected. But when i go to donate to the museum and get that first cutscene, whether or not i grab the seed reward, it loads to 8% and crashes every time. Ive tried this various ways about 6 times.

This happens to alot of people, I believe it's been noted and will be fixed in the next patch. When that patch is tho I have no idea unfortunately 😞

Workaround. Donate your items. Then immediately press pause before the screen goes black. Scroll down to the "I'm stuck" option and allow the day to reset itself. Problem fixed. The game will save, you'll be sent home and the cutscene will play out from your home. Then you can carry on as usual ☺️

NOTE: After all of that - do not hand in the next step of the museum quest (donate 50 items). There's a number of people here that are suffering from another crashing issue once the museum has been upgraded. However, the museum will only upgrade if you hand in the quest for 50 items donated. So, avoid handing in that quest once it's complete.

Instead, just go about your business donating as much as you like. So long as you don't hand that quest in (until the developers fix the crashing issues) you'll be fine. I've donated nearly 200 things and my game is working just fine (Series S).

Haha that’s what I’d do with my newfound fame! 😂 Yes there’s a group called Coral Island Community. I know you’d be very welcome there! I’ll definitely screenshot it for when I get to the 50 donations! You’re a lifesaver!
