#Does Rare Drops working rn?
1 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
The rare drop enchant seems bugged on the Pickaxe. You will get more fossils, but no more/less geodes. After removing it from my pickaxe I get about 3 geodes per floor.
what about the rings. Its kinda expensive but I don't see anything different from wearing notting
I am currently testing them as I didn't really think about it before. The 3 geodes per floor was while wearing 1 rare drop ring. Note that I have the Geode finder skill from lvling mining.
I will test with and without rings for a few ingame days, will be back in a bit. 🙂
thanks! don't hesitate to tell me if you found any result!
Floor 30-33 - Earth cave
**lvl 10 mining **- geode finder skill
**Silver pickaxe **- Extra drop enchant
no rare drop ring
Day1
9 fossils
9 earth + 6 mystery geodes
Day2
16 fossils
11 earth + 3 mystery geodes
Day3
16 fossils
6 earth + 4 mystery geodes
Floor 30-33 - Earth cave
lvl 10 mining - geode finder skill
**Silver pickaxe **- Extra drop enchant
Manual mining - no explosives used
2 rare drop rings
Day1
6 fossils
6 earth + 4 mystery
Day2
27 fossils
7 earth + 1 mystery geodes
Day3
19 fossils
13 earth + 1 mystery geode
Average without rings:
13,6 fossils
8,6 earth geodes
4,3 mystery geodes
**
Average with rings:**
17,3 fossils
8,6 earth geodes
2 mystery geodes
Ok so, I did 3 days straight for with and without rings.
The amount of earth geodes on average is spot on the same. The amount of fossils went up by a significant ammount, but the mystery geodes went down. It almost seems like you get more fossil drop rate and less rare geode drop.
Now I know the rare drop enchant on the pickaxe basically voids any and all geodes. With the rings it doesn't seem to be the case, making me guess it is a pickaxe enchantment problem only.
I'd say, put the rings on if you need more fossils and take them off if you need more geodes.
I would love if you inform these problem to the dev for me cus my grammar is so broken and I'm afraid they'll never understand me. Wish they'll fix this bug soon
Sure! The thing with such a small test is that it is not super reliable, pure luck could have influenced it. But I will post it just in case!
