I was upgrading my fishing pole to gold quality. During the 2 days it was going to take, I was farming kelp. My character got locked into an animation and I could not use my tools or fast travel points. I paused and hit “I’m stuck” because I did not want my day to start over for the day.
When I woke up my character was still stuck in the animation. So I quit the game and went to reload. The game then needed to update before starting again. Updated, played a bit and no issues. Slept and decided to pick up the pole but there is no option to retrieve upgraded tools. I searched every container multiple times. Reloaded, and did the normal troubleshoot things but I simply don’t have a fishing pole anymore.
Is my save file dead?
