What's the easiest quickest way to catch the yellow eel I have been fishing at night on the beach every night since spring even started trying large fish baited and still can't get one and i need it for the offering

The yellow moray eel? I couldn’t stop catching them tbh but every time I use bait I never catch what I need. Unfortunately fishing is something you have to grind at and there’s a chance you will not find what you’re searching for. And the eel is only the from spring 15-28 and summer 15-28

Any day between Spring 15 and Spring 28, and likewise Summer 15 and Summer 28. Basically, the last two weeks of the season.

I can confirm that getting the yellow eel is possible. I am standing on the small island on the beach next to Theo's boat. Spring of the 15th, rain during the night and catching them on the regular. I am using a maxed pole with smoked salmon and large bait bought in the shop on the beach. If it helps the tug meter is a 5.

Better poles increase the chances of catching bigger and legendary fish. and use large bait. you can keep crafting those with the annoying little fish you'll get

Honestly it’s one of the easier legendaries to catch, once it was the 15th I continued catching them, so long as you have the silver rod anyway
And I disagree with the bait thing, everytime I caught something for the altar or a legendary fish it was without bait. The bait only caught flyers and common fish tbh

All I can say is that for me it is working 🙂 Perhaps it works both ways? I have not tried without bait.

It might it’s only worked against me though lol and I mention it mainly because if people want to spend their money or save their resources I don’t believe bait is something to worry about
