Is anyone else having issues finding geodes when mining? It seems as though the drop rate for them decreased after using a skill point on Geode Finder.

I noticed this as well. I figured I was just unlucky but yeah I got way more before I upgraded. I play on Xbox btw

if you advance in the story, you can add enchantments to your pickaxe to increase rare drops and double drops. then you get tons of geodes

My pick is fully maxed for that and I’m barely getting any with all the perks unlocked, trying to grind out water geodes because I need a diamond still

water geodes are an issue. maybe buy an opal ring? it increased rare drops as well i think. i had trouble with topaz and red beryl, so i know the frustration

I had the same problem. Water geodes are so stingy😭i was able to buy a diamond at the winter fair tho in one of the booths/stores.

In another thread, someone pointed out that the rare drops enchantment is bugged right now, bc it will give you plenty of fossils, but not geodes. I haven't tried the fix yet bc I still have some missing fossils, but DANG I'm doing a lot of mining for very little reward.

i was getting a lot of geodes during my ''i have to get the last two gems or i'll delete the game'' rampage. same thing with the coffers. it doesn't hurt to try, I guess
and just hang around in floors 25-40. more geodes. and also get double drop? enchantment

Had the same issue with water geode. I have Osmium pickaxe with max enchantment of Swift Swing, Extra Drop and Rare drop. I've maxed all mining skill with 1 blessed opal ring and the ring that increase tool speed. Regardless, I get like 3 geodes from floor 1 to 40. But Earth, Wind and Fire geodes are plenty like 15+ in one run from floor 1 to 40. So I think it's the Water geode and not me. By the way, I always save up to 30 geodes and open them, and if I don't get what I need I simply reset the day until I get what I need.
