This is the 4th game crash and I have done everything I could throughout the game day, including 4 hours of fishing, and managing the entire farm and upgrades just for it to crash. The only thing I've changed that started the crashes, has been the automated chest and crafted even more artisan items, as well as upgrades of tools. Please fix as this is really frustrating to wanna go back just for it to crash and having to restart the day all over again.

Seriously, this game crashing is getting ridiculous. This is now the 6th crash within a span of 3 days. I'm wasting away hours just for a game to crash.

Noticing that when I've upgraded my tools using gems, it has caused a crash (for the 7th time).... anyone looking at this? This needs to be fixed 😭
I've verified files in steam.... uninstalled and reinstalled... made sure my devies and windows are up to date... I run a ryzen 9, with a 3080... IDK why I'm having such issues. I never had a game that ran so many crashes

They didnt. At least not yet. The latest update did address a lot of things but its still crashing a ton. Another update has been sent in but hasnt been pushed out yet

Its still fun to play as far as seeing the things that did get updated/fixed but you wont be able to have a nice productive day. And every time you chance it. The coral island gods will punish you

The crashes just started with the auto chest that I recently acquired... it was a crash every other time... but now I'm on my 8th crash... its getting out of hand

Automated chest is known to cause crash ever since early access. I've also experienced the same situation as yours and felt frustrated. I removed all the automated chest I have and the crash stoped. Also If you have an architect desk, keep it inside a chest if you're not using it since I noticed that having both architect desk' and automated chest out causes crash on my playthrough.

I've been doing a lot of the trial and error... not upgrading, not mining, not gather, just sleeping... however, like you've said, the automated chest was the source of the problem. I noticed that my game crashes started when I tried acquiring it... the only way I had first progressed thru the issue was by forcing "I'm Stuck" and it prompt me into the next day.
I have removed it, and going on day-3 in game without a single crash... although it does give me a bit of PTSD from looking at the "saving..." icon just waiting for it to actually crash
Going to add... I've completed all the mines, and helped with the disguise however, never been given the arch desk... did I miss something?

Have you triggered the cutscenes where all 5 giants have a meeting? Based on the posts, acquiring the archi desk is currently bugged. I got my archi desk before the 1.162 update so I did not encounter any errors.

No cutscene was triggered. I played before the release, so I know I was supposed to get one. So I'll just await for the big fixes later since I'm just gathering for now. Thank you for clearing that up.

After clearing fire mine and freeing the fire giant, you will have cutscene at the lobby of the mine. Next, chief will send mail to join meeting. Then watch cutscene of all 5 giants.

I think it's a bug if you've skipped the cutscene right after freeing the fire giant... because... I definitely didn't have a meeting

A lot of people are having crashes, I have been reading the crash reports for a few weeks now people on console seem to crash more then pc (but that doesn't mean pc people don't crash as well...as I have had issues with crashing)
Honestly giving me anxiety coz I heard the automatic chests ect are known for crashes I'm scared to add em to my farm lol
