Confuse on animals in winter

Soooo it's wintertime and it's a sunny day I let my animals out and I see a 😦 on them when they come out. so i let them back in to the barn. They don't like the winter no more? also in the barn the animals sometimes have a ... balloon on them. what's wrong with them?

Do you have a Temperature Machine? I think it's needed to help keep them warm and happy in Winter
