I play on Xbox series S. I have had issues with my game crashing constantly especially going/leaving the museum, cut scenes, or opening my backpack/map. So I have skipped cut scenes and only go to the museum first thing in the morning. It’s still laggy and crashes but that helps a lot.

Yesterday my game crashed and when I loaded it back up my entire save file was gone. I reset my console, uninstalled/reinstalled the game, and tried to find my back up save data but I couldn’t find anything. It’s like my save file is just gone. I’m disappointed, I’ve put days into playing this game for my hard work and effort to just be gone.

We've released a new hotfix for the Xbox Series. You should get a prompt to load your backup save file if you experience missing save file previously. Please note as the file is from your backup, you may lose a few days when opening it. Feel free to poke me if you have questions about this. Thank you for your patience! 🙂
