So I've romanced Mark, proposed, wedding was set for fall 19. It's 6 am, on my wedding day and I hurriedly get myself ready, I have my wedding dress on and I'm making my way to the beach. I waited the whole day for the wedding to take place, running back and forth along the beach, until I notice my husband to be is having coffee... the whole day.... so I decided to check in the next day... It's been almost a year and still Mark refuses to marry me...

I think the cutscene is supposed to take place right when you walk out your door.

You have to reset the game from that day and do the day over. You should be able to leave your house and get a prompt saying something like are you ready to get married?

Wedding event didn't trigger for me either. I wasn't sure what day she had said and ended up playing past being able to reset. Now what?!

I think there's back up save files you can roll back to. Like one is created with each "day" you save and I think there's a certain amount stored (like the past 5 most recent days, something like that). I remember having to roll back to a previous save after I had a corrupted file. The game kept crashing when I loaded what should have been my current day. Granted this was during EA, I don't know if they changed this feature up. I'll have to check my game files.

As it took me 5 resets to figure this out, let me explain, DO NOT LEAVE YOUR HOUSE. If you do you will miss your wedding. Instead hover your mouse around the exit and youll get a prompt to go to your wedding

# wary isle Can you walk me through how to go and check my game files? I went a day past thi...

Sure thing! Okay so your save files should be under the following directory:
C:\Users\WhateverYourUserName Is\AppData\Local\ProjectCoral\Saved\SaveGames\Backup

They should be listed like "SaveBackup_0_0.sav" or "SaveBackup_0_1.sav". There should be a few.

First thing though, we're going to go back and make a copy of your current save in the "SaveGames" directory. Should be something like "DailySave_0.sav". Grab that and copy it to your desktop or wherever else for safekeeping. That way just in case something doesn't work with loading a old save file, you can just put that one back in.

The tricky part now is figuring out which of the backup saves rewinds you in game far enough. If you can, I would suggest going by their modified date, if you have something from a few (real life days) before this happened, that might be one to go with.

Just for example, my current save is from 12/10. In my backup folder I have save files from 12/6, 12/4, 12/3, 12/2, etc (I was playing a little every day). So for me, depending on where I am now in my game, that 12/6 or 12/4 file would probably put me back several in game days. It really depends on how many in game days you go through each time you play. Whatever backup you use will start on whatever in game new day you quit the game on.

So let's say on 12/6 I got through Summer 1 through 5, then shut the game down for the night. If I used my 12/6 backup file I should load on the morning now of Summer 6.

#

So using my files again as an example, after I copy my "DailySave_0.sav" to my desktop, I'm going to delete the one located in the "SaveGames" folder. Now I'll go back into the "Backup" folder and grab my 12/6 file which happens to be called "SaveBackup_0_0_5.sav". I'm going to copy that and paste it into the "SaveGames" folder and rename it to "DailySave_0.sav".

Basically what we're doing is duping the game into thinking this is still the current file. After that try and load your save via in game like usual.

Now if it ends up not loading, remember your copied file! Just delete the renamed file you made and copy back in your previous "DailySave_0.sav" and you'll be back to square one.

#

That's just a shot of my backup saves so you can see what I mean by the modified date

#

I just checked by using the 12/6 backup save btw, my current game is on Summer 7, that particular backup put me back to Summer 5. But absolutely hang on to that current game copy. Worst case scenario you'll just have to continue on with where you are now.

Found a decent video walkthrough, probably explains it way better than I did 🤣
