I'm trying to plant fruit trees (actual trees, not saplings,) but it won't let me place them where I want? I'm trying to place them in the middle of this 3x3 square, but it won't let me. It will let me go down 1 square which doesn't make any sense.

Pictures for evidence. I'm trying to place where the red box is, but it won't let me, but it will let me place 1 square south.

I think you're standing too close. Try moving back a little.

I've been moving all around for over a day because I thought the same thing. It just flat out won't let me place in that row
