Is it normal that during the event nobody have dialogue. everyone just "...have nothing more to say today"

There devs have reported that there is a bug that keeps NPCs from fully accessing their dialogue options. IDK if that's related to this issue (I kinda doubt it, but who knows.)

I have encountered this as well and noticed it only happens to NPCs I talked to at the same day prior to meeting them at the event.

Considering how broken the new years feast is in general (I had one NPC t-pose throughout our round of the balloon game, the prompt "You Are Already Spin the Wheel" when trying to spin the wheel more times than allowed), and the aforementioned dialogue issue, I think it's safe to say this festival is a work in progress still.
