I just downloaded the earlyaccess_testing to access my old save and sell all my stuff. I switched the beta back to none to start new game plus on that save file, but now it's not giving me the option to do new game plus. It just loads the old save without restarting the game. What can I do?

I grabbed a back up save file and replaced the current one.
It seems that if you save after they implemented the new version 1.0, then the game doesn't recognize the new game plus mode.
You have to grab an older save file for it to recognize it.

I don’t know about the testing but if you see your old file you should be able to click it and it will automatically give you an option to start again but with ng+

does it work for anyone by now? because technically the EarlyAccessTesting shouldn't even exist anymore, but it does still load my files as such, even though I updated the game : ( and when I try to start a new file it also says I think it was "building mode" or something like that in the bottom right corner

If you opened your file in the 1.0 beta. It's garbage now. You cannot use NG+ on it
