I’ve tried to hand the last item in multiple times but it just crashes - Xbox series X

I had this occur to me yesterday when I was turning in the last item (bat wing) of the Monster Loot offering. However, I was unable to replicate it on my second attempt.

It’s the bat wing for me too ! I go to the mine, get the last one I need , go hand it in and then it crashes , ganna get the last one and save and then try first thing in the morning

That is what I did too. I got it, slept, turned in under my second attempt.

I can’t speak past the one time it happened to me. My steps to reproduce would be:

  1. Start day
  2. Fast travel to cavern
  3. Grind fire cavern until last bat wing
  4. Fast travel to museum
  5. Turn in
  6. Sadness
