Do the years actually do anything like in SOS? Like will our farmer eventually pass away? Or will this be a game we can continue on forever?

The eventual plan is to have your child and the other island children eventually age up at least. As far as our farmers dying I don’t think so. Things could get added and changed later since we don’t know yet if they’re planning dlcs/sequels

Ohhh okay Tysm for this! I feel like I’m really rushing the game trying to save before crashes so I was like will the years cut off at like 6 or 8? I haven’t done anything with townsfolk besides errands or some festivals. I just feel really behind in my game and I’m already halfway through year 2 😅

I’m hoping crash hot fix is approved soon for y’all that would stress me! But no I saw people with year 8+ in EA. Don’t stress it! The game is very much designed to play how you like I usually don’t even do much with the villagers until winter year 1 or the following year tbh bc I become a crazy farm lady too worried about crops anyways. Manifesting a quck hot patch for you though

They said they released a hotfix today and it was on steam so just gotta wait for Microsoft to approve it 😭🫶🏻 this game is so beautiful and it’s literally all my favorite farm sims rolled into one. This is the perfect game I can see myself playing for a LONG LONG time but yes the bugs are taking me out LOL 😭😂
