Zarah Fabled Treasure Quest

Hey y'all! I'm doing the Fabled Treasure side quest but I think I've messed up

I found both the clue pieces and gifted them to Zarah thinking that's what I needed to do. Ive since found out I gotta go to her boat with the pieces to trigger the event.

Have I missed up the quest? Can I still romance Zarah? Is there a fix?

You shouldn't have been able to "gift" them to her as it's not an item you can give away. This entire quest is a part of her heart events.

Lmao I thought as much. I suppose I can go back to the cavern and sea to check if they respawn but I doubt it.

i think u just need to have the pieces in your inventory, i randomly (forgot what day but def between 12:00-18:00) and went to the clinic. it triggered her heart event. maybe give that one a try? someone else had the same issue and i gave them the same advice and it worked for them. hope this helpos

I don't have the pieces any more I gifted them to her because I figured you couldn't gift away quest items

Have you tried the clinic thing yet? I haven't but I'm probably just going to give up on Zarah

no dice on clinic — i just don't want the quest in my to do list:(

Any fix found for this? I gifted Zarah the pieces and haven't seen a quest update since. It's just stuck in my list.

I had a different experience but am still confused. I tried repeatedly to go to Zarah's boat to talk to her when I had both pieces. As soon as she entered, she would go to sleep and if I did talk to her, there was no acknowledgement of my having the maps. We were at 6 hearts worth of friendship. I gave up for a while, put the pieces in my storage and went on with life. Then one day in the forest I talked to her and she got very excited in a cut scene in which I admitted I had found the pieces and off we went to try to find the treasure. It was so random. After a bunch of questions, we ended up digging up this chest. She said the mayor needs to know about this! That was it. Since then, I've spoken to both her and the mayor multiple times with no end resolution. I still have the pieces in my storage. Weird.
