How to trigger Wakuu's first heart event

Hi guys
Would any of you know how to get it to trigger?
I've got him at 10 hearts, gave him the dating locket, and I still can't seem to get it to trigger
I've been running into the beach shack non-stop the entire in game Saturday and it won't trigger.
Please send help

I'm at a point where I'm wondering if it's a bug related to the locket
because I've triggered everyone else's heart events by accident...Just not Wakuu who's the only one with the locket

I think that might be a bug. I don’t know if you should be able to give the locket to someone if you haven’t seen all their heart events up until that point.

I have both the wiki and that website opened to double check info
and I've been running to all his heart event locations but nothing is triggering

Tbh I think I got the heart event before the letter he sent through the mail for the date lol

I was mainly in the mines, so I never really ran anywhere LOL
so when I saw he was at 8 heats, I was like "AH YES, UNLOCK MORE AND I CAN GET TO TRIGGERING THOSE LATER"

Ahhh I see. I play from steam. Hmmm maybe its bugged? Bcs for me some didnt trigger at all like scott, zarah, mark, millie (i think i just forgot about her idk lol) and they didnt trigger at the 10th heart event

I think maybe try triggering other heart events? Sometimes I accidentally skipped a cutscene and forgot which person is at what staged of heart event haha

I was thinking that too, so I ran after the other bachelors/bachelorettes and they kept triggering left and right LOL

it was why I think it was the locket 🤔

Good luck! But since you could give him the locket doesn’t it mean you’ve done all cutscenes? At least till the 8th heart event? Did he say yes or no to date? Is he your boyfriend now?

he said yes, and got labelled as boyfriend, but I swear to you I have not seen a single one of his heart events LOL

maybe this is a bug due to me playing on a previous file
because when EA became 1.0, they let you "reload" an old save? And I saw him up to heart event 8 in the previous file
